Mindanao youth Circle- Digos City Chapter is to launch the Youth Task Force this coming February 2009 through convening the local youth sector leaders in different Fields such as the civic groups, private orgs, youth concerned institutions and organizations, young community leaders, Young government leaders, SK, young legislators and others of its nature.
During the said meeting to be chaired by The Mindanao Youth Circle GEXC, Matters of Public Interests will be discussed such as Tactics and Strategies in fighting Consumer abuse, Youth trafficking, Corruption and other issues concerning the community specially the youth.
This is a move for better governance and Leadership that turns away from traditional politics.
"this is in no way connected to the Cagas- Latasa feud that the province is facing right now, This was Planned long ago, the initiative in materializing it was just approved weeks before the said issue blasted out. We do not pin point anyone when we say good governance, it is just a matter of aligning principles to move to the right direction." Christian Robles, President of Mindanao Youth Circle states when asked what the motives in organizing the said Youth Task Force.
Politics will never be clean as far as the old people know, but as the members of Mindanao Youth Circle are concerned, The Beacon to Genuine Leadership is at Hand.
