DIGOS CITY, Philippines—A fire razed several establishments in this southern Philippine city at around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday but no one was reported hurt, a fire official said.
The blaze was put under control about an hour later, said Fire Marshall Decemoso Remoroza, chief of the city's fire department.
Remoroza said the fire started at the dilapidated Digos theater building and quickly spread to nearby establishments.
The building was made mostly of wood.
