Dasureco BOD's Politically elected!

The Davao Del Sur Electric Cooperative is undergoing its district by district election of board of Directors. and now. instead of leaving the election to the people. its more likely that big politicians are going on about getting their "manok" elected....

What would the get out of these efforts? is it really because of their concern and principles or are their some hidden agendas behind these actions. Well, not to link this with the political division and rivalry of Cagas and Latasa but it is left for the people to look at the situatiopn and take it unto themselves.

PADIGOS BLOGSPOT TEAM went about the community and discussed with some locals on what they think should happen and what they could say about the present situation, and we got these very nice feed backs:

People had a lot more to say, these are just some. I hope that the BODs of DASURECO whom are now elected would not be like the politicians that giot them their and put asside differences and work for the task they wanted so much.

Cagas-Latasa Feud

Digos City, the Capital City of the province of Davao del Sur is now facing a feud between two of its executives. Gov. Douglas Cagas of Davao Del Sur and Mayor Arcenio Boy Latasa of the City of Digos. Is this clearly just another political show or is this a war of priciples. Let us examine the details a little more carefully so that we will arrive to the right points in this thought.

-Both are politicians belonging to different political banners.
-Both are veterans in the feild of Governing(not to mention Ages of Bickering)
-Both are planning to run for the 2010 elections(who knows for what position they are to run for)

on the other hand;

-Both tend to serve the people by the means they know best.
-Both wants to put up their own projects in Estrada Public Market.
-Both wants to look good for the people(hero +points)
-Both has a lot of avid followers and die hard fanatics(Specially their employees)

Well the " She Says He Says" syndrome struck again as both sides deffend themselves in the issues the face that do not only affect them personally but gravely affects the economic situation of the poor community that is Digos.

Well for a thought; the Jollibee Digos Drive Through finally openned even if you cant drive through it due to Gov. Cagas' Railings placed outside the establishment and untill now Charm FM never Sieze to Bombard the ears of the listeners with all their points agains the City Executive and Legislative body. Well the Problems with that establishment and the so called Road Right of way is now in the proper forum, that is that of the Judiciary Chamber of the State.

Well, I just hope that things turn out the way it should be, the way things aughto go... The Right way so that A little Peace would be Resounded from the hills of the province of Davao del Sur and its Capital city.
